Are you feeling overwhelmed by the stress of trying to keep up with it all as a busy mom?
Tired of trying to keep up with piles of laundry, stacks of dishes, perpetual meal-planning, and never-ending “to-do” list?
You know you have it in you to be a better mom if only, you could get a handle on your day-to-day life.
I get it.
You love your family…but after you’ve given so much of yourself to the mundane and necessary tasks of home-keeping, you feel burnt out, with little left to give to the people you love so much.
The worst part?
You’re working non-stop but feel like you have nothing to show for it!
You’ve tried taking control of your days with set schedules & routines. To de-clutter your whole home and simplify your life.
But nothing seems to stick.
I BELIEVE SMALL CHANGES WILL LEAD TO PEACEFUL DAYS AND A HAPPIER FAMILY.
What others are saying:
Your ideas are working! My husband and I were just saying how we’re actually enjoying spending more time together. We’re not racing to be anywhere, it’s kind of nice!
I absolutely love all of this!!! My “big kid” just turned 3, and I can totally see your tips helping us so much! I struggle with keeping a routine, though, with the arrival of the “little kid” 3 months ago. Thanks for the encouragement to stick with it!
I was working 2 jobs 40-70 hours a week (as a caregiver) until I finally emotionally couldn’t do it. I was missing out on my son (even though I homeschool) and husband. Being present and paying attention is so much better. I am becoming reconnected with my family and loving it.
Waking up filled with excitement for the day ahead. Your days have a rhythm and flow about them now. Your kids? They seem to be happier—and even more tidy and cooperative.
And when they tug at your shirt, wide-eyed, asking “Mommy, will you play with me?” There’s nothing you’d rather do, and better yet, nothing keeping you from actually doing it.
You’re ready at a moment’s notice for an unexpected house guest. You beam with pride as you open the door to greet them. And, as they admire your tidy home, they look at you and ask: “How do you manage to do it all?”
Once your kids are tucked into bed at night, you and your spouse ACTUALLY have a quiet minute to yourselves to just be together. You truly enjoy each other’s company and that spark you thought the two of you had lost? Well, you’re thrilled to discover you still have it.
As you lay your head down on your pillow at the end of the day, you’re content knowing you’re finally doing it right…and right you’re where you’re meant to be.
In the early days, life as a stay-at-home mom was chaotic, not calm.
I loved being home with my kids more than anything, but eventually, the mess-induced-stress took its toll. I grew tired of functioning in survival mode.
Within months of staying home full-time, I craved the structure and routine I was used to in my corporate life. I desperately wanted to feel in control of this precious time I felt so blessed to have, instead of watching it slip passively through my fingers each day.
To play with my kids instead of fighting an endless battle against dishes, laundry, and the never-ending “to-do” list growing in my head. I wanted to wake up happy, confident, and energized with a plan for our days.
So, I made it my life’s mission to learn everything I could to create happy days for my family and me.
I’ve spent countless hours scouring through every book, podcast, blog post, and magazine article on the subject. Through it all, I’ve discovered REAL solutions that WORK.
The best part?
We never had to overhaul our lives to make it happen.
And, while there’s no such thing as the “perfect” day, we’ve learned that all it takes are small changes to make our days calmer and more peaceful—and we’re a happier family because of it.
And, mama, no matter how stuck you feel may right now, rest assured that all of this is possible for you too. Small changes are all it takes to achieve the peaceful, happier days you crave!
